Anna is the definition of a mass communicator. From broadcast journalism to videography, graphic and web design to print, Anna was trained to do it all during her six years as a Navy Mass Communication Specialist.
Anna is currently interning with the digital news team at NBC San Diego, and previously interned as an assistant news producer for the KPBS Midday Edition radio show. Anna occasionally writes editorials for the San Diego Union Tribune’s military column, and was the leading editor in the literary journal Oracle Reviews. Anna also presented her research on sex trafficking at SDSU’s 2017 Student Research Symposium.
Anna is a journalism and English double major at San Diego State University, and will be graduating in May 2017. She is pursuing a career as an investigative reporter, military correspondent and feature writer.
